Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman ended the 49ers season last night with a tipped ball that was intercepted by teammate Malcolm Smith. Sherman broke up the potentially game winning pass in the final seconds of the NFC Championship game and Smith caught the ball, effectively ending the game and earning the Seahawks a trip to the Superbowl.
Sherman tipped a ball intended for 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree, then told Erin Andrews after the game that he “was making sure everybody knew Crabtree was a mediocre receiver. Mediocre. And when you try the best corner in the game with a mediocre receiver, that’s what happens.” Sherman received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for slapping Crabtree’s backside as if saying good job right after the play.
An outspoken loud mouthed player like Richard Sherman needs a loud car, and Sherman has one. Richard Sherman drives a bright blue Dodge Challenger SRT8. With a 470-horsepower engine, the Challenger has the muscle to back up the car’s aggressive looks, kind of like Sherman.
