Brandon Meriweather, star of Ghetto Celebs (see video below), singer of VIP (see other video below) and NFL Safety currently playing for the Washington Redskins is one of the most interesting football players active today. His attempts to parlay his fame and money into a career in entertainment have not come to fruition yet, but that is presumably because he has been so focused on his current career.
Meriweather had a 2010 Chevy Camaro SS customized in a very funky deep purple color. The exterior of the car has been painted purple and the interior has been changed to match with Brandon’s signature on the door panels and head rests (why he needs to see his signature inside his car is a mystery to me). The Camaro then got 24 inch staggered lip three piece MHT wheels and a Tiarra front grill. A full sound system upgrade was also installed in the Camaro with two subwoofers installed on either side of the trunk in a custom enclosure.
Brandon Meriweather’s club banger VIP debuted on 98.5 the Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich radio show when he was still on the New England Patriots. A major label signing hasn’t been announced yet, but if he can fill a CD with tracks like VIP on Swole, I can promise you I’d buy it.
Meriweather’s other foray into entertainment was appearing in the web show Ghetto Celebs, about ex-con drug dealers and their attempts to leave the criminal life. Meriweather appeared in episode four, which can be seen in its entirety above.
