Nissan is the third largest Japanese car maker and has one of the largest lineups of cars, SUVs and trucks available in America. Nissan cars and trucks have been on sale in America since 1958 when the brand was called Datsun.

Today, Nissan sells the Altima, Cube, GT-R, Maxima and Sentra cars. Nissan's crossover SUV lineup ranges from the small Rogue and Juke crossovers to the stylish Murano. Nissan also sells the truck-based Xterra, Pathfinder and Armada. Nissan's Frontier and Titan trucks are very popular in a segment traditionally dominated by American-made vehicles.

Nissan also sells the Leaf, the first widely available electric vehicle from a major automotive company.
