Dodge is one of the three Chrysler Group LLC brands. The Dodge brand was founded as the Dodge Brothers Company in 1900 to supply parts and assemblies for Detroit's growing auto industry. Dodge started making its own complete vehicles in 1914.

During Chrysler's Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, the Dodge brand was split into Dodge and Ram Truck. The Dodge brand includes cars, minivans, SUVs and crossovers. The Ram Truck brand sells only trucks.

Dodge's current lineup includes the Avenger, Caliber, Challenger, Charger, Grand Caravan, Durango, Journey and Nitro. Ram Truck's current lineup includes the Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Ram 3500, Chassis Cab, Dakota, Outdoorsman, Laramie Longhorn and commercial vehicles.
