New Mini Cooper
The Mini enjoyed resurgence with its re-introduction to the US market and starring appearances in movies like The Italian Job, The Bourne Identity, and Austin Powers.
In 2009 and 2010 the Mini comes in three different body styles. The Mini Cooper coupe, Convertible and the larger Clubman are all available in either standard or S trim levels. The Mini Cooper S models come with a high performance turbocharged engine.

MINI Cooper
The new MINI Cooper, built by BMW, was first introduced in 2001. With an emphasis on customization and go-kart handling, the MINI Cooper has become wildly popular despite the fact that most sporty cars in its price range have quite a bit more horsepower. The MINI Cooper was redesigned for 2007, with very subtle styling changes and new engines.
Three different models of MINI Coopers are available. The base model is a hardtop hatchback that seats four. A convertible MINI Cooper is available with a fully automatic roof that can be pulled partially down to act like a targa-top. The MINI Cooper Clubman is a stretched version with a rear seat access door just behind the passenger door and split rear doors in place of a hatch. The Cooper Clubman has 32.8 cubic feet of cargo room with the back seat laid down.
The MINI Cooper body styles are very similar, and share the same trim levels. The base Cooper has a 118 hp 1.6 liter four-cylinder. The Cooper S adds a sportier suspension and a turbocharger that brings horsepower up to 177. The John Cooper Works MINI is the highest performance Cooper available; it adds a race suspension and an extra 31 hp for a total of 208. The hardtop MINI Cooper and Clubman are available in all three performance levels, convertible MINI Coopers can't be purchased in John Cooper Works form.
