Kia owned by Hyundai began selling cars in 1994 in the United States. Currently Kia produces 11 different models here and is the bestselling car over in Europe.
What makes Kia different is its attention to safety. Each Kia comes with six airbags. Most Kia's are very affordable with the Kia Rio subcompact starting out at 10,000 and the Kia Sedona topping Van topping out at $26,000. In between Kia offers the Amanti, Optima and Spectra Sedans and the Forte sedan and coupe. And produces multiple SUV's including the Borrego, Sorento and Sportage.
Kia attempts to produce safe, affordable vehicles that gives good value for the dollar and they do a pretty good job of it.
