Honda Ridgeline
Honda’s Ridgeline is the company’s first entry into the full-sized truck market. Starting at $28,000 the Honda Ridgeline comes standard with 4wd, which puts it just about even with similarly priced trucks from other manufacturers. The Ridgeline has remained largely unchanged since its first appearance in 2006.
Unlike its competitors, the Honda Ridgeline uses a unit-body construction that gives it a smooth ride and better handling than a body on frame construction would allow. The tradeoff for that comfy ride and car-like handling is that the Ridgeline isn’t as off-road capable as its competitors. The non traditional construction and lack of an available V8 engine make the Honda an ideal choice for buyers who use their truck mostly for commuting and only need its towing capabilities occasionally.
