Cadillac Escalade Hybrid
The Cadillac Escalade is a large luxury SUV. A favorite for rappers and athletes, the Escalade is the flashiest vehicle on the road. If you're interested in the Escalade for its looks, nothing else will do. If you're just looking for luxury and bling is a secondary concern, try the GMC Denali, which is basically a de-blinged Escalade at a much lower price. Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, BMW, Lincoln and Land Rover all make high end Luxury SUVs too.
The Escalade has been around since 1999. Now in its third generation, the Escalade has set the bar for full-sized Luxury SUVs. The Escalade comes in several different configurations. The regular Escalade has a 6.2 liter V8 that makes 403 hp and seats 9. The Escalade ESV stretches the SUV's trunk to allow for 137 cubic feet of cargo room. The Escalade EXT has a small pickup truck bed like the one found on the Chevrolet Avalanche. The Escalade Hybrid gets 20 mpg during city driving. All Escalades are available with either rear or all-wheel drive.
Keep in mind that the Cadillac Escalade is popular with car thieves too. The Escalade ESV was the most frequently stolen car in 2007.
