Audi A5
The Audi A5 midsized luxury coupe is based on the Audi A4. Rather than simply a two-door sedan version of Audi's popular A4, the A5 takes styling cues from the R8 supercar. The A5 is the first of Audi's cars to use the company's newest platform, which moves the engine behind the front wheels rather than in front of them, giving the car a more even weight distribution for better handling.
The Audi A5 competes with the Mercedes-Benz CLK and BMW 3 Series coupe. The A5 is available only with a 265-hp V6 and all-wheel drive. Either a six-speed manual or an automatic with paddle shifters can be selected on the A5.
