Toyota shoppers will find that the August new car incentives are very similar to the ones offered in July. Shoppers can still take advantage of 0 percent and low auto loan rates, low monthly lease payments and free maintenance.

Toyota is offering 0 percent auto loan financing in August on its Prius, Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Venza, RAV4, Highlander and Tundra. Remember that you'll need a prime credit score of usually 720 or higher to qualify for the 0 percent rate through Toyota. If you don't qualify, you might qualify for the 0.9, 1.9, 2.9 or 3.9 percent that Toyota is also offering.

Toyota Corolla

The 2010 Toyota Corolla is the only car shoppers can lease with a lower minimum credit score of 650 in August.

The 2010 Toyota Yaris has a $1,000 cash back incentive this month, or 0 percent financing.

Toyota is also offering low monthly lease payments ranging from $119 to $329 on nine models in August. You'll need anywhere from $2,198 to $3,704 at lease signing, depending on the vehicle. The 2011 Camry LE is the only Toyota that can be leased with $0 due at signing.

Before you apply for a Toyota lease, keep in mind that some models only require a credit score of 650 to lease, while others require a 720. For example, the Corolla requires a 650 to lease while the rest of Toyota's lease incentives require a 720 this month. So if you don't have a high enough credit score for the Camry, you can always lease the Corolla.

Toyota is still offering its two-year complementary maintenance program in August for all its models, including Scion. The program gives buyers a coupon book for all scheduled maintenance and includes things like oil changes and tire rotations, but doesn't cover things like brake pads and wiper blades.

Scion is only offering lease incentives in August with a minimum credit score requirement of 650. The xB is $199 and the xD is $187 a month for 36 months. You'll need about $850 at lease signing. The Scion tC can be leased for $256 a month for 36 months, with $900 due at signing.

Lexus has three lease incentives in August. The 2010 Lexus IS 250 can be leased for $349 a month for 36 months with $3,489 due at signing. The 2010 ES 350 is $389 a month for 36 months with $3,899 at signing. Lexus' 2010 RX 350 is $469 a month for a 36-month lease with $2,939 due at signing.

Incentives listed are for the southeast region. They may differ depending on where you live. Check Toyota's site to find the incentives in your area.
