The 2014 Cadillac XTS will get a 410-horsepower engine as an option. The 2014 XTS will get the 410-hp twin-turbocharged engine that we announced would be available in the 2014 CTS. The 2013 Cadillac XTS starts at $44,075 and ranges to over $60,000 for the top-of-the-line Platinum AWD model.
The 2014 XTS’ new turbocharged engine will be the same 3.6-liter LF3 twin-turbo engine as the 2014 CTS, but while the CTS will have 420-hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, the XTS will get just 410-horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The new engine will get the same six-speed paddle shift automatic as the standard naturally aspirated 304-hp 3.6-liter engine.
The 2014 Cadillac XTS will also get standard electric power steering and an optional Automatic Parking Assist that can parallel park the car on its own. Luxury, Premium and Platinum models, all of the models except for the base XTS, will get headlights that automatically switch between high and low beams.
