2013 VW CC Will Start at $31,070

When the refreshed 2013 Volkswagen CC goes on sale this spring, the base price will be $31,070.  That’s a $1,735 increase over last year’s starting price, but buyers will get extra equipment that wasn’t included in the 2012 CC.

The 2013 VW CC will come standard with an adaptive front lighting system including bi-xenon headlamps, LED tail lights.  VW has also added fatigue detection, stainless steel door sill inserts and longitudinal adjustment for head rests to the CC’s list of standard features, so the extra $1,735 isn’t just a reflection on inflation.

The base model 2013 CC will be the 2.0T sport, which will come with run-flat tires mounted to 17-inch wheels, as well as heated leatherette seats, rain sensing wipers and a 6-CD changer. The 200-hp 2.-liter turbocharged four cylinder will be available in the 2.0T, the 2.0T Sport, which adds 18 inch wheels and navigation, and the 2.0T Lux, which adds a sun roof.  The 2013 VW CC will also be available with VW’s 3.6-liter V6 engine with 280-hp.  The V6 will be available with all-wheel drive. Automatic transmissions are available on all CC trim levels, but only the 2.0T and 2.0T Sport can also be had with a stick shift.
